The story of Rapunzel has been revamped and parodied innumerable times since its creation and its most famous line, "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair", is an idiom of popular culture. The fairy tale was also collected and published by the Grimm Brothers in their 1812 publication Children's and Household Tales.
